New Location, Same Great League!

Our facilities have been at Jefferson Park for the looongest time.  ( I am waiting to get a more exact figure from some of our "seasoned" board members.)

And then Jefferson School needed upgrades. =^).

In the spring of 2003, the School City of Hammond was going to need the land where one of our fields was located, for the new Jefferson School.

In the fall of 2003, the School City of Hammond told us that Jefferson School would need all three of our fields. So, we had to move rather quickly to get a new location!  The result is that our 12-year-old-and-under fields will be built new from the ground up on Riley School grounds, in South Hammond, across the street from Riverside Park; in other words, across Columbia Avenue to the east.

We are working with Hammond's Parks Department and other organizations to make sure the fields will be ready for this spring.
